How to Order
After your physician appointment, Canada House faxes your Medical Document directly to your chosen Licensed Producer. Orders are shipped by priority mail in discreet packaging. Prescriptions are renewed proactively — we contact you about one month before expiry.
LP registration typically takes 5–7 business days.
Insurance & Coverage
Medical cannabis qualifies as an eligible medical expense under the CRA. Health Spending Accounts (HSAs) within many benefits plans can be used. An increasing number of private insurers now offer direct medical cannabis coverage — check with your HR department or plan administrator.
Direct insurance billing is not currently available; claims are reimbursement-based.
About Medical Cannabis
Medical cannabis is a Health Canada-regulated prescription medication. It contains cannabinoids — primarily THC and CBD — that interact with the body's endocannabinoid system to provide therapeutic effects for a range of conditions including chronic pain, PTSD, anxiety, and more.
All products come from Health Canada-approved Licensed Producers.

Create your patient account online, by phone, or in person. Registration is completely free.

Education appointment
Meet with a Cannabis Therapy Educator (~30 min) to review your health history, learn about cannabis therapy, and select a Licensed Producer.

Physician appointment
A prescribing physician reviews your case (~10 min) and issues your Medical Document with dosage and duration.

Order your medication
Your Medical Document is faxed to your chosen LP. You order online or by phone and receive discreet delivery by mail.
