For Veterans
VAC coverage — your benefits, your choice
Founded by Veterans who understood the gaps in care, we navigate VAC paperwork, connect you with licensed producers, and provide free wellness assessments — so you get the support you earned.
Your VAC coverage, explained
Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) coverage for medical cannabis belongs to you — not to any clinic or producer. You hold the right to choose where you receive care, which Licensed Producer (LP) supplies your medication, and how your prescription is split across multiple LPs if that suits your needs.
Canada House works with eight Licensed Producers — including a veteran-oriented marketplace — so you have real options, not a single forced choice. If you prefer a producer we don't partner with, we'll support you anyway. Your care comes first.
Freedom to choose your LP
Split your prescription across multiple Licensed Producers or change producers at any time. We'll update your documentation to match.
Paperwork we handle for you
Our team manages VAC medical document submissions, producer registrations, and reimbursement paperwork — so you spend less time on forms and more time on your health.
Ongoing prescription support
As your needs change, our clinicians update your prescription. We maintain your file and keep your VAC documentation current without you having to chase anything down.

Head-to-toe wellness assessment
A head-to-toe wellness assessment is a comprehensive medical evaluation that documents your physical and mental health conditions — from chronic pain and PTSD to sleep disorders and mobility issues. It creates a full clinical picture that supports VAC disability claims and helps your treatment team understand your complete health profile.
Our assessments are free for Veterans regardless of whether you are currently registered for medical cannabis. You don't need to be a Canada House patient to access this service.
Our wellness assessments have helped Veterans gain more than $5,000,000 in awarded VAC claims.
What's covered in the assessment
- Musculoskeletal and chronic pain review
- Mental health screening — PTSD, anxiety, depression
- Sleep and neurological assessment
- Cardiovascular and respiratory review
- Documented clinical findings for VAC submission
Who is eligible
Current and former Canadian Armed Forces members and RCMP officers. You do not need an existing VAC file or prior claim to book an assessment.
